The Committee overseeing the Application for Certification for the proposed Walnut Energy Center Project will hold a pre-hearing conference as follows:

This conference will provide the Committee an opportunity to assess readiness for evidentiary hearings, identify areas of agreement and dispute, and discuss procedures for the evidentiary hearing.
The Walnut Energy Center project, proposed by the Turlock Irrigation District, would be a 250-megawatt, natural gas-fired, combined-cycle power plant constructed on an 18-acre site in an industrially zoned area, near the intersection of West Main Street and Washington Road within the City of Turlock in Stanislaus County.
Members of the public and other interested agencies are invited to participate and provide comments.
