The Committee overseeing the Application for Certification for the proposed Tesla Power Plant Project will hold a site visit and pre-hearing conference on:

Prior to the conference, members of the public are invited to join the Committee for a tour of the proposed site. Meet in the Tracy Community Center parking lot. The conference will provide the Committee an opportunity to assess the parties' readiness for evidentiary hearings, identify areas of agreement and dispute, and discuss procedures for the evidentiary hearing.
The Tesla Power Plant Project is proposed by Midway Energy, LLC, a direct subsidiary of Florida Power and Light.The project calls for four gas turbines and two steam turbines in a combined-cycle power plant, to produce 1,120 megawatts. The facility would be located on a 60-acre portion of a 160-acre parcel in Alameda County, just west of the San Joaquin County line and one-half mile north of the Pacific Gas & Electric Tesla Substation.
