FRIDAY, AUGUST 8, 2003
9:30 a.m.to no later than 3 p.m.

The Modesto Irrigation District is seeking approval to build and operate the natural gas-fired Modesto Irrigation District Electric Generation Station on a six-acre portion of a 12.25-acre site at South Stockton Avenue and Doak Boulevard in Ripon, in San Joaquin County. Two combustion turbines in simple-cycle operation would generate 95 megawatts.
Members of the public and other interested agencies are invited to participate and provide comments. Those who wish further information about how to participate should contact Roberta Mendonca, the Commission's Public Adviser, toll free in California at (800) 822-6228, or by e-mail at: firstname.lastname@example.org
