This conference will provide the Committee
an opportunity to identify areas of agreement and dispute,
assess readiness, and discuss procedures to prepare
for evidentiary hearings.
The Salton Sea Unit #6 Project, proposed
by CE Obsidian Energy, would be a 185-megawatt geothermal
power plant. The facility would be built on an 80-acre
parcel located six miles northwest of Calipatria, within
the unincorporated area of Imperial County.
Members of the public and other interested
agencies are invited to participate and provide comments.
