The Committee overseeing the Application for Certification for the proposed San Joaquin Valley Energy Center Power Plant Project will hold a public conference to discuss the Presiding Member's Proposed Decision on:

The San Joaquin Valley Energy Center, planned by Calpine, would be a 1,087-megawatt, natural gas-fired, combined-cycle power plant that would sell its power in the open market. The proposed location is an 85-acre parcel in the city of San Joaquin in Fresno County near the Mendota Wildlife Management Area.
