If your publication, radio or television station offers a calendar of community events, you may want to include news of the following workshop.
The California Energy Commission staff will conduct a data response and issue resolution workshop on the proposed Roseville Energy Park project on:
THURSDAY, APRIL 15, 2004
Beginning at 10 a.m
California Energy Commission
Second Floor Conference Room
1516 Ninth Street
This workshop will provide the Energy Commission Staff an opportunity to discuss the applicant's data responses, and to resolve any outstanding issues, in the technical areas of air quality, biological resources, cultural resources, and soil and water resources.
The Roseville Energy Park, as proposed by the city of Roseville's municipal utility, Roseville Electric, would be a natural gas-fired, combined-cycle power plant that would generate 120 megawatts, with the ability to peak fire to 160 megawatts when the summertime demand for electricity is the highest.
Members of the public and other interested agencies are invited to participate and provide comments. Those who wish further information about how to participate should contact the Commission's Public Adviser, Margret J. Kim, at (916) 654-4489, toll free in California at (800) 822-6228, or by email at:
