The Committee responsible for considering whether to exempt the Kings River Conservation District Peaking Plant from the California Energy Commission review process will hold a public conference to discuss their Proposed Decision on:

The Kings River Conservation District is seeking approval to build and operate the natural gas-fired peaker plant on a site south of Fresno, near the community of Malaga in Fresno County. Two combustion turbines in simple-cycle operation would generate 97 megawatts.
