The California Energy Commission Staff will conduct a Preliminary Staff Assessment workshop on the proposed Blythe Energy Project Phase Two on:

This workshop will provide the applicant, interested agencies and members of the public the opportunity to discuss the Biological Resources section of the Preliminary Staff Assessment published on November 14, 2003. The comments will be considered in drafting the Final Staff Assessment.
The Blythe Energy Project Phase II is a proposed addition to the operating Blythe Energy Project. If approved, the 520-megawatt, combined-cycle Phase II project will be built within the property boundaries of the existing project, near Interstate 10 and the Blythe Airport, five miles west of the city of Blythe in Riverside County.
