The California Energy Commission Committee reviewing the Blythe Energy Project Phase II Application for Certification will hold a pre-hearing conference on:
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 29, 2005
Beginning at 9:00 a.m.

Hearing Room A
Interested parties who are not able to attend the workshop may participate by calling, toll-free, 1-888-820-8951. The Conference Leader is Garret Shean; the pass code is Blythe call.
The conference will provide the Committee an opportunity to assess readiness for evidentiary hearings, identify areas of agreement and dispute, and discuss procedures. The public and interested agencies are encouraged to attend and make comments on the power plant proposal.
The Blythe Energy Project Phase II would be a 520-megawatt, combined-cycle, natural gas-fired power plant. As currently proposed, Phase II would be built within the property boundaries of the existing power plant near Interstate 10 and the Blythe Airport, five miles west of the city of Blythe in Riverside County.
Members of the public and other interested agencies are invited to participate and provide comments. Those who wish further information about how to participate should contact Margret J. Kim, the Commissions Public Adviser, at (916) 654-4489, toll free in California at (800) 822-6228, or by email at: firstname.lastname@example.org
