CARB gasoline production off nearly 8 percent
Sacramento - Production of CARB gasoline by California refineries decreased 7.7 percent from the week before, according to the Weekly Fuels Watch Report issued today by the California Energy Commission.
During the week ending Friday, October 7, 2005, California's refineries produced an average of 954,857 barrels of reformulated gasoline a day, 8.4 percent more than at this time last year.
Inventories of reformulated gasoline fell 1.8 percent from the previous week, and are 21.3 percent below last year's levels.
Production of CARB diesel fell 2.9 percent from the previous week's spike in production, but was still 30.3 percent above levels for this date a year ago. Diesel inventories dropped 18.6 percent from the week before, and are 1.7 percent above last year's levels.
