Why: The workshop will provide Energy Commission staff the opportunity to receive comments on its PSA of the project from the applicant, members of the public, local, state, and federal agencies. The comments will be considered in drafting the Final Staff Assessment. All topics of the PSA will be discussed with emphasis on air quality, biology, cultural resources, soil and water as well as traffic and transportation.
The 563-megawatt solar-gas hybrid Victorville Power Plant Project, as proposed, would require three areas that total 388 acres, located immediately north of the Southern California Logistics Airport (SCLA), the site of the former George Air Force Base.
