Staff Assessment Workshop for Proposed Marsh Landing Generating Station
Scheduled May 4, 2010

What: The California Energy Commission staff reviewing the proposed 760-megawatt Marsh Landing Generating Station will conduct a workshop on the recently released staff assessment. The public and interested parties are invited to attend.

When: Tuesday, May 4, 2010, beginning at 1 p.m.

Why: The workshop will provide an opportunity for all interested parties and the public to discuss the staff assessment. It will also provide an opportunity for all parties to work towards resolving any outstanding issues. All technical disciplines will be open for discussion at the workshop, with a particular focus on biology, soil and water resources, and waste management.

The proposed Marsh Landing Generating Station would be located on a 27-acre industrial site on Wilbur Avenue, one mile northeast of the city of Antioch, on the southern shore of the San Joaquin River. Immediately south, west, and east of the site are the existing Pacific Gas & Electric substation and the Gateway Generating Station.
