Renewables Committee Decision Summary
Renewable Energy Program Guidebooks

On January 17, 2003, the Renewables Committee issued proposed final guidelines for the continuation of the California Energy Commission's Renewable Energy Program (REP) under Senate Bill 1038 (SB 1038, Sher, Chapter 515, Statutes of 2002). These guidelines have been revised, in part, based on comments received during two days of Committee hearings in December 2002.

The Renewables Committee Decision Summary summarizes stakeholder comments received at the December Committee hearings and discusses the Committee's position with respect to these comments that may or may not have resulted in changes to the draft guidelines. The Decision Summary is being provided as a courtesy to help stakeholders better understand the Committee's rationale for the proposed guidelines.
