Background

The Advisory Committee, co-chaired by Rob Hammon of ConSol and David Hochschild of PV Now, is an independent, informal stakeholder group that includes representatives from the building, utility, and solar industries.

The Advisory Committee has held five meetings to discuss the Advisory Committee's roles and responsibilities and various elements regarding the New Solar Homes Partnership.

While Commissioners of the California Energy Commission do not serve on the independent Advisory Committee, they are interested in facilitating this form of public and stakeholder participation, and may attend part of the meeting. This Advisory Committee meeting is being held at the Pacific Energy Center in San Francisco and notice of the meeting is being posted on the Energy Commission's Web site. Any future meetings, as well as Advisory Committee materials will be posted on the Energy Commission's website at: www.energy.ca.gov/renewables/06-NSHP-1/advisorycommittee/.

For questions about the Advisory Committee, please contact Tim Tutt at (916) 654-5036 or [ttutt@energy.state.ca.us].
