for the New Solar Homes Partnership
The New Solar Homes Partnership Advisory Committee (Advisory Committee) will meet to discuss progress on the California Energy Commission's New Solar Homes Partnership (NSHP) program. The meeting will be held:
TUESDAY, OCTOBER 2, 2007
1 p.m.
Department of Health Services
1500 Capitol Avenue
Hearing Room (Room 71.167), First Floor
Sacramento, California
Purpose
Advisory Committee members and participants will have an opportunity to exchange views on the NSHP program and report on the status of activities, including participation trends and issues, education and outreach campaign, associated energy efficiency incentives, and NSHP protocols.
This and subsequent public meetings and workshops will provide members and participants a forum to ask questions and make comments on elements of the New Solar Homes Partnership.
Background
The Advisory Committee is an independent, informal stakeholder group that includes representatives from the building, utility, and solar industries.
The Advisory Committee has held six meetings to discuss the Advisory Committee's roles, responsibilities, and various elements regarding the New Solar Homes Partnership.
While Commissioners of the California Energy Commission do not serve on the independent Advisory Committee, they are interested in facilitating this form of public and stakeholder participation, and may attend the meeting. This notice of the meeting is being posted on the Energy Commission's Web site. Any future meetings, as well as Advisory Committee materials will be posted on the Energy Commission's Web site: www.energy.ca.gov/renewables/06-NSHP-1/.
For questions about the Advisory Committee, please contact Tim Tutt at (916) 654-5036 or ttutt@energy.state.ca.us.
