All of the rebate funds are available on a first-come and first-served basis until the funding is exhausted. Rebate levels vary depending on system size, technology and type of installation. The rebate levels for all technology types are scheduled to be reduced by 20 cents per watt every six months (January 1st and July 1st). This rebate reduction may be adjusted from time to time at the Energy Commission's discretion subject to public input and formal Energy Commission adoption. For eligibility and other information see our Emerging Renewables Program Rebates page.
