The staff of the California Energy Commission invites interested parties to attend a workshop where the results of three large, multi-year RD&D programs in the area of building energy efficiency will be presented and discussed. A public workshop will be held on the following:

Background
In 1999, the California Energy Commission's PIER Buildings Energy Efficiency Program funded three RD&D programs for a total of $18M:
The many research products completed over the last three years fall into the following categories:

Purpose of the Workshop
The primary purpose of this workshop is to unveil the results of California's significant efforts in public interest building energy efficiency RD&D over the last three years. Each of the three program directors will summarize the latest results in the research areas listed above. At the meeting, the program directors will release, for the first time, hard copies of final research reports as well as CDs containing all significant products from their research programs.
