The PIER Industrial Agriculture and Water End-Use Energy Efficiency Program (IAW) has traditionally identified research projects through the assessment of opportunities to increase the efficiency of each of the largest energy-consuming industries in the state. For 2007, the PIER IAW team is developing an integrated program plan that is aligned with state energy policies and clearly defines and communicates RD&D priorities across all industrial sectors.
