Title 24, Part 6 Section 110.12(a)1B requires that all demand responsive controlled receptacles be certified by the manufacturer as being capable of responding to a demand response signal from a certified OpenADR 2.0b Virtual End Node by automatically implementing the control functions requested by the Virtual End Node for the equipment it controls.

Persons wishing to certify that their demand responsive controlled receptacles conform to this requirement shall use the following declaration statement. The declaration statement shall be completed in full, signed by the responsible person, and delivered electronically via email to the California Energy Commission (CEC).
