In the Matter of:
Senate Bill 1
Eligibility Criteria and
Conditions for Incentive
Docket No. 07-SB-1
NOTICE OF DELAYED EFFECTIVE DATE
RE: Inverter-Integrated Meter Test ± 5 Percent
Accuracy Testing Requirements
The California Energy Commission does not intend to enforce the ± 5 percent accuracy testing requirements for inverter-integrated meters, beginning January 1, 2010, as adopted in Chapter 3 of the Guidelines for California's Solar Electric Incentive Programs (Senate Bill 1), Second Edition - (PDF file - publication # CEC-300-2008-007-CMF).
Instead, the Energy Commission will, in the near future, adopt revisions to the Guidelines that set a new effective date for the ± 5 percent accuracy testing requirements.
The change in effective date is required because no Nationally Recognized Test Laboratory (NRTL) is currently offering testing capability for the required ± 5 percent accuracy testing protocol.
