I. SUMMARY OF PETITION

On February 20, 2001, the Committee received a petition from Intervenor CARMELA F. GARNICA requesting that the Committee "hold a public Conference to receive public comment on the PMPD, in Blythe, California on March 5, 2001." The Committee will treat that petition as a Motion made pursuant to Title 20, California Code of Regulations, § 1716.5.

II. RULING ON MOTION

The motion is DENIED. Should the Intervenor, CARMELA F. GARNICA, want to participate in the conference, she may do so by way of teleconference as stated in the Notice of this Conference. In addition, public comment may be made via the teleconference procedures and/or provided to the Committee by any interested person or organization in written form. All such comments will be considered by the Committee.
