ON CONTINUANCE OF PROJECT
SCHEDULE

BLYTHE ENERGY PROJECT II
APPLICATION FOR CERTIFICATION
DOCKET NO. 02-AFC-1

Discussion:
On February 4, 2004, the Committee issued a Committee Order on Project Status that listed several topics for which the Applicant must supply data in order for the Commission staff to have sufficient information to complete and file its Final Staff Assessment. In addition, the Committee provided a schedule, based upon filing estimates from the Applicant, which would have had all such data provided by March 22, 2004.

Recent Status Reports filed by the Staff and Applicant have indicated that not all of the information has been filed by the Applicant to date. Staff has requested an Order expressly stating a day-to-day slip in the production of its Final Staff Assessment beyond our required date of May 22. We believe this request is reasonable and approve this request.

Order:
IT IS ORDERED that the proceeding schedule is continued day-for-day, pending the receipt of all necessary information to be provided by the Applicant.
