Project Summary: Blythe Energy, LLC, filed a petition to amend the Energy Commission decision and modify the project. Blythe Energy proposes to build two new transmission lines and a substation in Riverside County, California. The proposed project will consist of two 230-kV transmission lines, one 67.4 miles in length and the other 6.7 miles. Additionally, Blythe Energy would construct a new substation at the point of interconnection near the existing Southern California Edison Devers-Palo Verde (DP-V1) 500-kV transmission line.
