Code of Regs., title 20, section 1720] ___________________________________)I. BACKGROUND
On March 16, 2000, Southern Energy Delta (Petitioner) timely filed a "Petition for Reconsideration and, in the alternative, for Reopening the Record." Petitioner asserts that the Commission's final Decision in the above-captioned matter is "incomplete, ambiguous, and/or inaccurate with respect to the project description, and facility and engineering assessment pertaining to transmission system engineering, linear facilities, and the first point of interconnection." Section 1720(b) of the Commission's regulations directs the Commission to hold a hearing on such a petition within 30 days of its receipt. [Cal. Code of Regs., title 20, section 1720(b).]
II. NOTICE OF HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Commission has scheduled a public hearing on the petition at its regularly scheduled Business Meeting as follows:

III. BRIEFING SCHEDULE
Responses to the petition must be received by the Commission's Docket Unit, MS-4, 1516 Ninth Street, Sacramento, CA 95814-5512, no later than 12 noon on Wednesday, March 29, 2000. Identify all responses with "Docket No. 98-AFC-3."
Responses must also be served at the same time on all parties identified in the attached Proof of Service list. Additionally, responses may be sent via email in Microsoft Word format to the parties and to the Hearing Officer. Contact the Commission's Public Adviser for the current email addresses (see below).
