I. BACKGROUND On October 14, 1998, Sempra Energy Resources and Occidental Energy Ventures Corporation (Petitioner) filed a "Petition for Jurisdictional Determination" requesting an exemption from the Notice of Intention (NOI) requirements for its Elk Hills Power Project as provided by Public Resources Code Section 25540.6(a)(1). On November 12, 1998, the Committee issued a Notice of Commission Hearing (Notice) on the Petition and directed Petitioner to submit responses to certain inquiries. Petitioner timely submitted those responses on November 25, 1998. The Committee recognizes that Petitioner has complied with the schedule established in the Notice; however, due to administrative circumstances beyond the Committee's control, it has become necessary to reschedule the Hearing.
II. NOTICE OF RESCHEDULED HEARING THEREFORE, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Committee has Rescheduled the Hearing originally noticed for December 16, 1998 to the Commission's regularly scheduled Business Meeting as follows:
