I. NOTICE OF REVISED SCHEDULE [2nd]
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT the schedule for evidentiary hearings in this proceeding has been REVISED [2nd]. The previously scheduled Air Quality and Alternatives hearings on March 29, and 30, 2000, were cancelled by Committee Order dated March 22, 2000. Those topics (Air Quality and Alternatives) will now be heard on May 15 and 16, 2000.
In addition a new backup date for Soil and Water Resources is now May 2, 2000. The May 2, 2000 date is held on an as needed basis. Should the issues surrounding Soil and Water Resources be resolved no later than April 24, 2000, no hearings will be conducted on May 2. All proceedings will be held in First Floor Hearing Room A as follows:

At these hearings, the parties (Applicant, Staff, and Intervenors) will present evidence consisting of sworn testimony and exhibits on each topic area. Unless a party's written request for a change is granted, presentations will follow the agenda reflected on ATTACHMENT A.
A. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION
Members of the public and interested governmental agencies are invited to attend these hearings and may offer unsworn public comment upon the matters discussed. These public comments will be entered into the record of the proceeding and may be used to supplement or explain the evidence of record. Public comments by themselves, however, are not sufficient to support a finding of fact or a decision on an issue.

III. REVISED HEARING ORDER
Based upon this Notice, the following filing schedule shall apply.

TUESDAY, MAY 2, 2000 Evidentiary hearings [if needed] on Soil and Water Resources. FRIDAY, MAY 5, 2000 Other parties file prepared testimony and resumes of witnesses on Air Quality and Alternatives MONDAY, MAY 15, 2000 Evidentiary hearings in topic areas of Air Quality and Alternatives as set forth in Attachment A. TUESDAY, MAY 16, 2000 Evidentiary hearings in topic areas of Air Quality and Alternatives as set forth in Attachment A. 10 calendar days after the Parties *receive final transcripts of the Air Quality and Alternatives proceedings Parties file Opening Briefs on Air Quality and Alternatives. 7 calendar days after filing of Opening Briefs on Air Quality and Alternatives Parties file Reply Briefs on Air Quality and Alternatives.

IV. FILING REQUIREMENTS
Filings shall be served upon all parties to this proceeding and the Commission's Docket Unit, 1516 Ninth Street, MS-4, Sacramento, CA 95814. Each party is responsible for ensuring that its respective submissions are received no later than 5:00 p.m. on the dates indicated. Identify all documents with "Docket No. 99-AFC-1."
