Purpose of Scheduling Order: |
The Gateway Power Project AFC Committee seeks to provide scheduling guidance to the Applicant, Staff, agencies, other parties, and public for a limited and foreseeable segment of the proceeding. Based upon submittals and discussions at the Informational Hearing, the following schedule will apply through the issuance of the Preliminary Staff Assessment:

Critical Dates: |
Maintenance of the statutorily prescribed schedule is dependent upon the Applicant's providing critical information, particularly to the Energy Commission, the Bay Area Air Quality Management District (AQMD), and the California Independent System Operator (Cal-ISO). The Committee requests that the Bay Area AQMD and the Cal-ISO inform the Committee directly, or indirectly through the Commission Staff, if the Applicant has not provided all the information necessary to complete the analyses or documentation identified in the schedule above. Based upon the timeliness and completeness of the information submitted by the Applicant, the Committee may alter the proceeding schedule as circumstances warrant. |

Agency and Intervener Information Requests: |
In accordance with Commission regulations (Cal. Code of Regs., title 20, § 1716),public agencies and interveners may request from the Applicant or other parties information which is reasonably available, relevant and/or reasonably necessary to make a decision in the proceeding. Agencies and interveners may begin making requests for information now. All requests must be submitted no later than 30 days prior to the prehearing conference, or approximately mid-November 2000. |

Status Reports: |
All parties shall file and serve monthly, beginning August 1, 2000, status reports concerning information requested or to be provided and any other matter relevant to the maintenance of the proceeding schedule. |
