Presiding Member's Proposed Decision is Available

The Committee released the Presiding Member's Proposed Decision (PMPD) for the Gateway Unit 8 Project on April 30, 2001. The Committee recommends approval of Mirant Delta's proposed 530 megawatt power plant near Antioch, California with conditions to mitigate potential environmental and community impacts. Printed copies of the PMPD have been sent to the Proof of Service List, and are also available from the CommissionŐs Publications Unit, 1516 9th Street, MS-13, Sacramento, CA 95814. All comments (original and 11 copies) must be received no later than 10:00 a.m. May 30, 2001, by the CommissionŐs Docket Unit, 1516 9th Street, Sacramento, CA 95814. Identify all comments with "Docket No. 00-AFC-1." Members of the general public wishing to participate at this conference are not required to submit their written comments. The deadline for public comments by mail to the Commission or e-mail to gshean@energy.state.ca.us is May 30, 2001. |
