Project Summary:

Kings River Conservation District proposes to construct and operate a 97-megawatt (MW) generation plant called the Kings River Conservation District Peaker Plant (KRCDPP). The project is proposed to be located on a 9.5-acre site near the community of Malaga, at 2611 E. North Avenue, in Fresno County California. The 97-megawatt natural gas-fired simple cycle plant would consist of two General Electric LM 6000 SPRINT combustion turbines. Part of the proposed project includes the construction of approximately 0.75 miles of new 115-kV transmission line, approximately 700 feet of natural gas supply line, and a 750 foot water supply line and a wastewater line tying into existing Malaga County Water District resources located along Chestnut Avenue.
