PRELIMINARY COMMITTEE SCHEDULE

Public Resources Code section 25552 provides that the Commission or a Committee of the Commission shall determine within 25 days after data adequacy whether an Application for Certification (AFC) qualifies for an expedited decision. [Pub. Resources Code, ¤ 25552(b)(2).]

The Commission found the AFC data adequate on September 25, 2001. To assist the Committee to determine whether the AFC qualifies for an expedited decision under the foregoing statutory provision, Staff shall file its recommendation no later than October 10 2001. Applicant shall file its response no later than October 16, 2001. Staff's recommendation and Applicant's response shall be served by e-mail in accordance with Section 1210 (a) of the Commission's regulations. [Cal. Code Regs., tit. 20, section 1210 (a).]

The Committee expects to issue a determination regarding the project's eligibility for an expedited decision on October 19, 2001, at the conclusion of the 25-day review period.
