Notice of Committee Status Conference

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Committee designated by the Energy Commission to conduct proceedings on the Application for Certification (AFC) for the above-mentioned MIRANT MARSH LANDING GENERATING STATION PROJECT has scheduled a Committee Status Conference as follows:

Parties and the public may attend the Conference in person or by telephone and/or by computer via our "WebEx" web conferencing system. For details on how to participate via WebEx, please see the "Participation through WebEx" directions attached.

The purpose of the Conference is to review the schedule for this AFC, access the readiness of the parties to proceed to evidentiary hearings, access the issues that are likely to require adjudication by the Committee, and other matters affecting the preparation for evidentiary hearings.

The Conference may be conducted by the Hearing Officer with or without the Committee members present. These proceedings will not be formally transcribed but an electronic recording will be kept for later review, if necessary.
