Californians for Renewable Energy (CARE) filed a "Motion to Stay Bifurcation of the FDOC/PSD Permits" (Motion). The Motion, which was apparently filed on August 18, 2000, contains CARE's contention that separate issuance of the Bay Area Air Quality Management District's Final Determination of Compliance (FDOC) and the federal Prevention of Significant Deterioration (PSD) permit "would place an undue burden on the public's rights to participate" in this proceeding.

We received CARE's Motion on August 25, 2000. The District released its FDOC on the same day. These events therefore render moot the relief requested in CARE's Motion.
