NOTICE OF RECEIPT ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
FOR SMALL POWER PLANT EXEMPTION (01-SPPE-1)
MODESTO IRRIGATION DISTRICT
On May 4, 2001, the Modesto Irrigation District (MID) filed a Small Power Plant Exemption (SPPE) seeking an exemption from the California Energy Commissionâs (Energy Commission) licensing requirements. On May 25, 2001, MID filed a Gas Supply Line Modification to the Application for SPPE. This notice is to inform you that there have been changes to the route and construction procedures for the proposed natural gas pipelines that will serve this project.
A copy of the SPPE Application document, including the Gas Supply Line Modifications, is available for public inspection at the
Stanislaus County Library Copies are also available at the Energy Commissionâs Library in Sacramento, the California State Library in Sacramento, at public libraries in Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, Fresno, and Eureka, as well as on the Energy Commissionâs website at: http://www.energy.ca.gov/sitingcases/modesto. In addition, copies will be distributed to those public agencies that would normally have jurisdiction except for the Energy Commissionâs exclusive authority to certify sites and related facilities.
