Notice of Workshop on Data Requests
Mountainview Power Plant Project
Purpose: The staff of the California Energy Commission will hold a workshop for the Mountainview Power Plant Project (MVPP) representatives, interested agencies, and the public.
This workshop will discuss data requests from the Energy Commission staff related to the Application for Certification process. Data request areas will include, but not be limited to: Air Quality; Biological Resources; Cultural Resources; Environmental Justice; Facility Design; Geology & Paleontology; Land Use; Noise; Power Plant Efficiency; Traffic & Transportation; Visual Resources; and Soil and Water Resources.

Project Summary: The Mountainview Power Plant Project is a proposed 1056 megawatt natural gas-fired electric generating facility. The applicant intends to locate the project on an existing 16.3-acre power plant site at the northeast corner of San Bernardino Avenue and Mountain View Avenue, in an unincorporated section of San Bernardino County.
Public Participation: The public is encouraged to participate and provide comments.
