Discussion Questions

For SoCalGas

1a. What is the current firm and non-firm summer capacity to deliver gas to the Moreno, Rainbow and Dana Point compression stations?

1b. Could SocalGas beef up the capacity by just adding more compression, or would more pipe be needed?

1c. If compression constrained, how much capacity could be added by raising pressures to Maximum Allowable Operating Pressure (MAOP)?

1d. What are the options and/or plans for adding an incremental level of capacity?

For SDG&E

2a. What is SDG&E's present firm and non-firm capacity to receive natural gas from SoCalGas at Rainbow and Dana Point compression stations?

2b. What would be needed to beef up that receipt capacity?

2c. If compression constrained, how much capacity could be added by raising pressures to MAOP?

2d. What are the options and/or plans for adding an incremental level of capacity?

For SDG&E

3a. What is SDG&E's present sendout capacity at Rainbow and Dana Point compression stations?

3b.Again, what would be needed to add more capacity, in some level of increments?

3c.What is SDG&E's present operational capacity to deliver gas to Otay Mesa?

3d.What are SDG&E's plans to add to that capacity?

For both SoCalGas and SDG&E

Please discuss the regulatory process for adding new delivery capacity to both SoCalGas and SDG&E systems.

For SDG&E

Please discuss Rule 14 H, which deals with curtailment and reducing emissions.
