On March 23, 2000, the Committee issued a Revised Scheduling Order based on Applicant's agreement to extend the 12-month schedule pending release of the Preliminary Determination of Compliance (PDOC) by the San Diego Air Pollution Control District. The revised schedule directs Staff to file its Preliminary Staff Assessment (PSA) on May 1, 2000 except for the air quality analysis, which will be filed 45 days after the PDOC is released. The Order also establishes a performance approach that imposes a day-for-day slip if Applicant does not provide necessary information in accordance with the dates indicated in the revised schedule.
Staff and Applicant filed Status Reports (#5) on April 18 and 20, respectively, stating that several issues will not be resolved by May 1, the PSA filing date. Staff, however, will file the PSA with incomplete analyses. To complete the analyses, Staff requires additional information on air quality, biological resources, transmission system engineering, and power plant efficiency and reliability (natural gas supply). Applicant is consulting with the responsible local, state, and federal agencies to resolve these issues.
II. NOTICE OF COMMITTEE STATUS CONFERENCE
The Committee will conduct a status conference to discuss the timetable for obtaining information required to complete Staff's analyses, the status of the PDOC, potential delays in completing the Final Determination of Compliance (FDOC), as well as any other pertinent scheduling matters as follows:

III. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION
The Committee invites representatives from the responsible governmental agencies and SDG&E to participate at the status conference.
Members of the general public and other interested entities may also participate and offer comments on the scheduling matters identified above.
