APPLICANT: Wildflower Energy LLP / InterGen
LOCATION: San Diego, California
SIZE: 90 Megawatt Peaking Power Plant
The Larkspur Energy Facility is a nominally rated 90 megawatt power plant proposed to be located at the corner of Harvest Road and Otay Mesa Road in the Otay Mesa area of the City of San Diego. The proposed plant will utilize two dual-fueled GE LM6000 Enhanced Sprint gas turbine engine-generators equipped with state-of-the-art air pollution control features in a simple-cycle mode. The application was approved by the Commission at its April 4, 2001, Business Meeting.
