I. BACKGROUND

On June 30, 1999, the Committee designated to conduct proceedings in the above-captioned matter issued its Presiding Member's Proposed Decision (PMPD) recommending that the Commission approve the Pittsburg District Energy Facility as proposed by Enron Corporation. On July 20, 1999, the Committee held a Conference in the City of Pittsburg to consider the parties' comments and to hear from members of the public regarding the PMPD. The comments and clarifications proposed by the parties do not substantively change the Committee's recommendations. The Committee, therefore, concludes that a Revised PMPD is not required; rather, the Committee will issue a list of Errata to be incorporated into the PMPD for consideration by the full Commission. The Errata will be provided to the parties on Friday, August 13, 1999.

II. NOTICE OF COMMISSION HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the California Energy Commission will conduct a public hearing on the Presiding Member's Proposed Decision at a Business Meeting scheduled as follows:
