NOTICE OF RECEIPT
On November 7, 2007, Sacramento Municipal Utility District Financing Authority (SFA) filed a petition with the California Energy Commission requesting Energy Commission approval of an amendment to the Commission Decision on the Cosumnes Power Plant (CPP).
The 500-megawatt project was certified by the Energy Commission on September 9, 2003, and Phase 1 began commercial operation on February 21, 2006. The CPP is located 25 miles southeast of the City of Sacramento, in Sacramento County.
DESCRIPTION OF PROPOSED MODIFICATION

The petition is available on the Energy Commission's website at www.enerqy.ca.gov/sitingcases/smud/compliance/index.html. The staff analysis (when published), as well as the Energy Commission Order (if approved), will also be posted on the website. If you would like to receive a hard copy of the petition, staff's analysis, or, the Energy Commission Order if the changes are approved, please complete the enclosed Information Request Form and return it to the address shown.
