Status Report Number 4 of the California Energy Commission

July 20, 1999

The staff of the California Energy Commission hereby files its Status Report #4 in response to the Committee's Order of April 1, 1999. We apologize for the delay in filing; the project manager was unavailable last week due to illness, and staff experienced difficulty in coordinating project activities.

Staff has reviewed the Status Report filed by Sunrise Cogeneration and Power Company and agrees that the applicant's statement indicates that acceptable progress is being made in all aspects of the application and that the project is proceeding in accordance with the Committee's adopted schedule. Staff plans to publish its Preliminary Staff Assessment on August 2, 1999.
