FPL Energy, LLC has submitted a petition to amend the Energy Commission Decision for the SEGS III-VII Project (Docket No. 87 AFC-1C) located in Kramer Junction. The petition requests that the Commission approve a transfer of operational control of the project to FPL Energy Operating Services, Inc. A representative of the new project operator has provided a declaration, under penalty of perjury, that the new project operator agrees to comply with the Commission's conditions of certification for the SEGS III-VII Project.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Staff has reviewed the petition and finds that it complies with the requirements of Title 20 of the California Code of Regulations, Section 1769(b), and recommends approval of the change in operational control.

CONCLUSION AND ORDER

The California Energy Commission hereby adopts the staff's recommendation and approves the transfer of ownership from KJC Operating Company to FPL Energy Operating Services, Inc.
