2005 BUILDING ENERGY EFFICIENCY STANDARDS
DRAFT REVISIONS TO BUILDING ENERGY EFFICIENCY
STANDARDS AND ALTERNATIVE CALCULATION
METHOD (ACM) APPROVAL MANUALS
The Energy Efficiency Committee and the staff of the California Energy Commission will conduct this workshop to obtain public comment on the draft revisions to the Standards and Alternative Calculation Method (ACM) Approval Manuals. These are being considered for the next update to the Building Energy Efficiency Standards (Standards) for Residential and Nonresidential Buildings (California Building Code, Title 24, Part 6).

Purpose of the Workshop
At the February 4, 2003 workshop, the Commission staff will obtain public comment on the draft of Building Standards and ACM Manual revisions. The draft revisions to the Building Standards and ACM Manuals cover all areas of the Standards that are expected to be revised, including the indoor and outdoor lighting revisions.
Documentation related to the February 4, 2003 workshop will be posted to the project website prior to January 23, 2003 [ www.energy.ca.gov/2005_standards ].
