PERFORM 2008 Computer Program

The 2008 Building Energy Efficiency Standards (Standards) were adopted by the California Energy Commission on April 23, 2008 and were approved for publication by the California Building Standards Commission on September 11, 2008. Compliance with these Standards is primarily demonstrated through the performance approach by using compliance software to show that each proposed building meets the energy budget established by the software for that building. Public Resources Code 25402.1(a) requires that the Energy Commission make available a public domain program for showing compliance with the Standards for nonresidential buildings. Perform 2008 is the revised public domain compliance software for the 2008 Nonresidential Building Energy Efficiency Standards.

PERFORM 2008 is now available for demonstrating compliance with the 2008 Standards for nonresidential buildings, high-rise residential buildings and hotels and motels.
