Alternative Calculation Method Reference Manuals
The Alternative Calculation Method (ACM) Manuals document the requirements for compliance software. Compliance Software is used to demonstrate compliance with the performance approach to the California Energy Efficiency Standards.
The approval manuals consist of two adopted manuals; one for residential buildings and one for non-residential buildings. Each has a companion reference manual associated with it. The ACM Reference Manuals contain the modeling rules that must be followed in the compliance software to implement the approach for the 2013 Standards.
