2013 Manufacturer Certification for Equipment, Products and Devices
Under the 2013 Building Energy Efficiency Standards (Title 24, Part 6) Section 120.5 (Required Nonresidential Mechanical Systems Acceptance) subsection (a)(4) Exception: Air economizers installed by the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system manufacturer and certified to the Energy Commission as being factory calibrated and tested are exempt from the Functional Testing section of the Air Economizer Controls acceptance test as described in the 2013 Reference Appendices NA220.127.116.11. To certify to the Energy Commission an HVAC Manufacturer must execute a declaration under penalty of perjury attesting that all information provided in the attached datasheet is true, complete, accurate, and in compliance with the applicable provisions of Part 6.
