Emergency Rulemaking for Assembly Bill 205, Opt-In Certification Provisions

The California Energy Commission (CEC) has been authorized under Assembly Bill (AB) 205 (Chapter 61, 2022) to establish a new certification program for eligible non-fossil-fueled power plants and related facilities to optionally seek certification from the CEC, using emergency rulemaking authority provided by AB 205.
