The California Energy Commission adopted regulations for commercial and industrial air compressors at its January 9, 2019 business meeting. The regulations encompass state-regulated compressors as defined in Title 20 of the California Code of Regulations, section 1602. The effective date for the regulations is January 1, 2022.
