The California Energy Commission (CEC) will host a public workshop to present and discuss proposed changes related to peak cooling energy limits for single-family residential buildings for the 2025 update of the Building Energy Efficiency Standards (Energy Code). These proposed updates aim to further encourage the use of cost-effective and technically feasible energy efficient building practices in the state.

 

The public can participate in the workshop consistent with the attendance instructions below. The CEC plans to begin promptly at the start time posted. The end time is an estimate based on the proposed agenda. The workshop may end sooner or later than the posted end time.
