The California Energy Commission (CEC), in collaboration with the University of California Davis (UC Davis) and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL), will host a summit to explore opportunities and challenges for realizing the statewide goal of 7,000 megawatts (MW) of demand flexibility by 2030, and discuss the role for demand flexibility in ensuring clean, reliable, and affordable energy for California.

A majority of commissioners from the CEC and the CPUC may participate, but no votes will be taken.

The public is invited to participate consistent with the attendance instructions below. The coordinators aim to begin promptly at the start time posted and the end time is an estimate based on the proposed agenda.

Registration is free and is required for all in-person attendees due to capacity limitations. Please register by May 16, 2025. Register at the event site. Registration may close when maximum capacity is reached.
