Add to CalendarThe commissioners of the California Energy Commission (CEC) will meet to discuss their respective subject matter areas. The commissioners will also be updated on and discuss the CEC’s administration and budget, and the general outlook for clean energy. This meeting will facilitate communication between the commissioners in a public setting. No action will be taken on any item of business.
The public can participate in the meeting as described below. The CEC aims to begin promptly at the start time. The end time is an estimate based on the agenda proposed. The meeting may end sooner or later than the time indicated depending on various factors.

Public comments are welcomed at the meeting during announced times. Comments may be limited to two minutes or less per speaker and one speaker per entity depending on the proposed agenda and number of commenters.

Zoom’s closed captioning service will be enabled for the meeting. Attendees can use the service by clicking on the “live transcript” CC icon and then choosing either “show subtitle” or “view full transcript.” The closed captioning service can be stopped by exiting the “live transcript” or selecting the “hide subtitle” icon. If using a phone, closed captioning is automatic and cannot be turned off. While closed captioning is available in real time, it can include errors.

The California Room has limited capacity. Attendees are encouraged to join remotely using the instructions below. In-person attendance is first-come, first-served. Visitors to the DoubleTree Hotel Berkeley Marina can proceed directly to the California Room to attend the meeting and do not need to check in with the hotel.
